Love Clothes and Toys

The social action “Love Clothes and Toys” is aimed at children from infancy to adolescence. The aim of this structure is to support children experiencing the economic hardship of our time, by offering clothes, shoes, toys and books upon request from their guardian at the Social Solidarity Department as well as at the Karpenisi Town Hall.

Interested parties will notify in the application they will submit, the age of the child-beneficiary, the gender and the specific needs (e.g. boy, 6 years old, I wish to receive clothes and books). Social workers from the Social Solidarity & Quality of Life Department will be responsible for approving the applications, who will examine the applications once a week, based on the socio-economic criteria of the applicants during the period in which the request is made.

This structure is housed at 1 G. Papandreou Street, in the municipal building next to the Children’s Creative Activity Center. The operation of this structure is based on the work offered by volunteer citizens.
