Products without intermediaries

The Municipality of Karpenisi is expanding the initiative for “products without intermediaries” that has spread throughout the country, guided by the interests of the citizens and without operating in competition with local businesses and merchants in our area.

Specifically, our Municipality has procured several tons of excellent quality olive oil, satisfying the demands of our citizens, as a basic product for our diet, which is not produced in the Evrytania region, with the sole aim of supporting the consumers of our Municipality.

After collecting offers from olive oil suppliers, an olive oil from Heraklion, Crete was selected by a competent committee. This is extra virgin olive oil with the brand name “Xylouris”, with an acidity of 0.3% and a price of 2.90 euros per liter.

The Municipality of Karpenisi is willing to repeat the process for “Products without Intermediaries” satisfying the desire and needs of the citizens for economic products that will relieve households.
